There's no restriction on what you can do to raise money for us! If you can dream a challenge up, and think you can get people to support you, we'll help you get up and running. People have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, undertaken cycling challenges, run marathons and taken part in the Mongol Rally - why not give it a go yourself?
Let your imagination run wild and go for it! Once you have an idea, let us know by getting in touch and we'll help you with planning and publicity.
Remember, it doesn't have to be a sporting event - people have made things to sell, and undertaken their own personal challenges with sponsorship all to help fund our work in Uganda.
If, on the other hand, you'd like to get a bit more hands-on and spend some time volunteering in Uganda itself, please get in touch. Our kids would love to meet you!
Thanks in advance for your support, and we look forward to hearing from you!
The core aim behind the formation of CraftAidUK is that every penny we raise, be it through donations, craft sales or fundraising events, goes straight to benefit our project directly.
Craft Aid UK does not deduct personal expenses or administration costs from your kind donations. Our team also pay for their own travel and accommodation when they go to Uganda to work for us and we'll continue to do this as long as we possibly can!
Every year, we run an appeal to make sure that the disadvantaged kids in the extended community around our project have something to brighten their Christmas - and we do this by means of a shoebox appeal.
If you'd like to take part, please get in touch or join our mailing list and we'll allocate you a child to send some simple gifts to. You can be guaranteed a smile and a personal thank you - as well as making a child's day special.
